Any dispute related in any way to your visit to this website shall be arbitrated by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

You agree to indemnify Intetics and its affiliates and hold Intetics harmless against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including, without limitation, legal expenses and any amounts paid by us to a third party in settlement of a claim or dispute on the advice of our legal advisers) incurred or suffered by us arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these Terms, or arising out of any claim that you have breached any provision of these Terms. Intetics reserves the right to select its own legal counsel.

No warranties

This website is provided “as is” without any representations or warranties, express or implied. Intetics makes no representations or warranties in relation to this website, or the information and materials provided on this website.

Limitation on liability

Intetics is not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our website.

Intetics reserves the right to edit, modify, and change these Terms any time on the website.

These Terms are an understanding between Intetics and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements or terms regarding the use of this website.

Terms and Conditions for Quantifying Software Product Excellence Online Workshop

By purchasing a ticket to ‘Quantifying Software Product Excellence’ ("the Workshop"), you ("the Participant") are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. If you have any questions, contact info@quantifyquality.info

Definitions

1. Shop - online shop available at https://www.eventbrite.com through which the Attendee may conclude a contract granting access to online events and/or workshops, offered by the Vendor, i.e. the Workshop.

2. Vendor - Intetics Inc., 4851 Tamiami Tr N, Ste 200, Naples, FL 34103, USA

3. Online Shop Terms and Conditions - these terms and conditions (T&Cs) for the provision of electronic services, setting out the rules for Attendees.

4. Privacy policy - a document describing the purposes and means of data processing, as well as the rights of data subjects, available online at: https://intetics.com/privacy-policy/  

5. Attendee  - a natural person of full legal age with legal capacity who attends the Workshop.

6. Personal data controller - the entity that decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data, in the case of Attendees, the personal data controller is the Vendor.

7. Order - a declaration of will made by the Attendee aiming directly at concluding a contract with the Vendor by completing and submitting the electronic purchase form available at the website: https://www.eventbrite.com, including reading and accepting the present Terms and Conditions.

8. Workshop - an online event titled “Quantifying Software Product Excellence”.

Scope of Workshop

The Workshop will cover the following topics:

Session 1: Source code auditing and performance testing

Session 2: UI/UX testing and security assessment

Session 3: Business logic checks and product architecture evaluation

Session 4: Data quality and use of open-source code.

It will be conducted via Zoom on November 30 at 12:00 PM EST.

Payment & Fees

1. The fee for the Workshop is $200 and is a gross sum.

2. All payments are to be made in U.S. dollars.

3. The Vendor enables payment to be made through Eventbrite payment system.

4. Failure to make payment shall entitle the Vendor not to allow the Attendee to participate in the Workshop.

5. Payments refund conditions are stated in the "Cancellation and Refunds" section.

6. Discontinuation of participation in the Workshop does not entitle the Attendee to a refund of the fees paid.

Registration & Access

1. The delivery of Attendee’s services takes place via the Internet in electronic form.

2. Registration is required to participate in the Workshop.

3. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

4. Vendor reserves the right to close registration when the Workshop is at full capacity.

5. To purchase access (ticket) to the 5. Workshop, it is necessary to visit the website at: https://www.quantifyquality.info/ and place an Order.

Cancellation and Refunds

1. Each participant will be granted with full refund upon two conditions:
    • The participant must attend the event
    • The participant must watch at least 1 full session.

2. In cases of so-called force majeure (objective situations beyond the Vendor's control such as catastrophes, natural disasters, technical failures, social or political events) and other extraordinary situations (e.g. illness of the teacher), the Vendor retains the right to cancel or reschedule the Workshop, provided that the Attendee is informed of the cancellation or change and the proposed new date at least 24 hours in advance.

3. If the Workshop is canceled by the Vendor, a full refund will be issued.
 

Content and Materials

1. Exclusive rights to any content made available to the Attendees, including any Workshop related materials, in particular copyrights to images, names, trademarks , including graphic elements, software and database rights are legally protected and vested in the Vendor or third parties with whom the Vendor has concluded relevant agreements.

2. It is forbidden to copy or otherwise use any elements of any Workshop related materials without the prior Vendor's consent.

3. Reproduction, distribution, or sale of Workshop materials is allowed on written confirmation by Vendor.

4. In the event of an infringement of the copyrights of any Workshop related materials, the infringer (including the Attendee) shall be liable for this under the copyright or intellectual property laws.

Technical Requirements

1. Participants are responsible for their own technical setup, including, but not limited to, internet access and functional computer equipment.

2. In order to attend the Workshop, it is necessary for the Attendee to have:
• Internet-enabled devices (computer, tablet, phone);
• a properly configured web browser that supports cookies and JavaScript.
• an active and properly configured e-mail account, enabling the Attendee to receive e-mails.

3. It is recommended that the device used by the Attendee should have, in particular:
• up-to-date antivirus system,
• an effective security firewall,
• installed available updates to the operating system and web browser which relate to security,
• the acceptance of cookies and Java Script is activated in your browser,

4. The Attendee shall be obliged to act in a manner compliant with the regulations in force in the territory of the state in which he resides, with the provisions of the present T&Cs, and not to provide content prohibited by generally applicable laws.

5. The Vendor shall not be liable for the Attendee's failure to comply with the above technical requirements necessary for the cooperation with the IT system used by the Attendee. In particular, this concerns cases where the Attendee has incorrectly configured his e-mail account or has not configured it at all and e-mails from the Attendee to the Vendor or from the Vendor to the Attendee do not reach him for this reason.

Code of Conduct

1. The Attendee is obliged to act in a manner compliant with the provisions of the law in force on the territory of the USA and the State of Florida, in accordance with the provisions of the present T&Cs, as well as not to provide content prohibited by generally applicable laws.

2. Participants must adhere to a standard code of conduct. Misbehavior, including but not limited to harassment, disruptive conduct, or misuse of materials, may result in expulsion from the Workshop without a refund.

Limitation of Liability

Intetics and its presenters are not responsible for any personal loss or any other damages incurred during the Workshop.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant generally applicable provisions of the State of Florida (U.S.) law shall apply.

Amendments

1. Attendees may access the Terms and Conditions free of charge at any time at the Shop website and make a printout.

2. These Terms and Conditions of the Shop shall enter into force on the day they are published at the Vendor's website.

3. The Vendor shall notify the Attendees of any planned change to the Terms and Conditions by e-mail, sending the content of the amended Terms and Conditions at least 14 days before it comes into force, to the Attendees' addresses which it holds, and shall also place a note to this effect at the website.

Personal Data

1. The administrator of the personal data provided during the use of the Shop is the Vendor.

2. The Attendee's personal data shall be processed for the purpose of concluding and performing the concluded contract, including the performance of the Workshop.

3. The provision of personal data for this purpose is necessary.

4. The purposes and scope of data processing, the entities to which the data will be transferred, as well as the rights of data subjects are described in the Privacy Policy available at: https://intetics.com/privacy-policy/  

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Workshop, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions in full.
